2026 BC Open Competition Team Trial - Poomsae

Location: 2-2801 W16th Ave, Vancouver

Date: Saturday, April 18th, 2026

Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Fees: $35.00+ GST

Purpose
As part of our Competition Development Program, this trial is part of our competition team evaluation process, assessing competition readiness and confirming selection to our competition team.

This trial will identify and support athletes who are committed to developing their skills and gaining experience in provincial-level competition.

Eligibility
Open to active Jeon Eui Taekwondo members who meet age, belt level, and program requirements.

Evaluation
Athletes will be assessed on a variety of factors from poomsae technique (Accuracy and Presentation), focus, coachability, and demeanour (Sportsmanship, Courtesy, and Respect).

Selection
Team placement is determined at the discretion of the coaching staff based on overall readiness. Not all participants will be selected.

Results and Expected Commitment
Families will be notified within 5 days after the trial.

Selected athletes are expected to attend all training sessions listed in the competition package, demonstrate discipline and sportsmanship, and participate in all designated competitions.

Acceptance of Team Selection
If selected for the team, you will receive an email with instructions to register for the poomsae-specific training for this event and to obtain required team apparel and equipment.
